I know you've all been waiting anxiously to send me packages- jokes- so here it is.

Wednesday the 29th of this month I will be moving to a town of about 7,000 people called Pachalum in the department of Quiche. My office will be at the City Hall and I will be working with women who want to improve their nutrition, cooking, and gardens. Although I am sad to be leaving Chirrepec, I am also excited to start this new adventure.

My new site mate's name is Sahisha (pronounced Saysha). Sasha, already being an uncommon name in the states is unheard of in Guatemala. Hardly anyone remembers my name because they can't pronounce it or it just doesn't stick. I've even thought about changing my name but I never came across one that did me justice. So, for a country who has never heard of a 'Sasha' before, having two in the same place is going to be quite interesting- wish me luck!

So with one week left on the Tea Coop, I'm taking orders. If anyone wants a box of organic black tea (grown, picked, processed and packaged all in the same town) please let me know ASAP and ill try to send you one.
